EVER wanted to know more about the life of Katie Price – and get it straight from the horse’s mouth?

Well, here’s your chance. The Brighton-born TV personality and former glamour model known as Jordan will lay bare her extraordinary life stories when she appears at the Theatre Royal Brighton in March.

And the star, who is on the panel of ITV’s Loose Women and last summer appeared in 12-part reality TV show My Crazy Life, has promised a VIP meet and greet and photo opportunity during An Audience With Katie Price on March 4 when she will also be singing her new single I Got U.

Over the past two decades, Katie has become one of Britain’s best-known personalities who shot to fame first as a model and then began a highly successful TV career when she appeared as a contestant on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!, famously falling in love with fellow contestant Peter Andre.

Now 39, she was born in Brighton, developing a passion for horses and horse-riding during her childhood.

Her modelling career began when she was a child, moving into glamour modelling at the age of 17 in 1996 under the pseudonym Jordan, and she has famously undergone a series of cosmetic surgery procedures.

She also stood as a candidate in the 2001 General Election under the slogan “For a Bigger and Betta Future” and her promises of free breast implants, more nudist beaches and a ban on parking tickets for her constituents won her 713 votes.

But it has been her willingness to open up about her private life that has made her so popular. Before she met Peter Andre, she had dated pop stars Dane Bowers, who was a member of Another Level, and Gareth Gates as well as footballers Teddy Sheringham and Dwight Yorke, the father of her eldest son Harvey, who was born in Brighton in 2002.

After Katie and Andre appeared on I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here! in 2004, they married the following year and had two children, Junior and Princess, before splitting up in 2009. She had a short-lived marriage to MMA fighter and former Hollyoaks actor Alex Reid before she married builder and part-time stripper Kieran Hayler in 2013. Their stormy marriage has weathered his affairs with two of Katie’s close friends and they have two children, Jett and Bunny.

My Crazy Life was the latest in a series of reality TV shows where the TV lens has been invited in to watch this “very modern family” as Katie “juggles being a full-time mum of five with the demanding reality of simply being Katie Price”. Cameras followed “every moment of the mayhem” on her vast Sussex estate with more than 100 animals, “a posse of glamorous friends forever ready to party and a schedule that would exhaust even the most energetic”.

As Katie has described, “I like to spend time with my family. The majority of my time is spent in London, but I do like to escape and spend time with them in my home town of Brighton on the south coast.”

After expanding her empire into the worlds of fashion and writing as well as television and modelling, Katie has an estimated fortune of more than £40million.

She recently took part in a debate at Cambridge University, in which she declared herself a “Z list celebrity” and her petition for the government to tackle online bullying is likely to be discussed in the House of Commons after it attracted 200,000 signatures.

As Katie herself says: Never underestimate the Pricey!
